Send Flowers to Sønderborg, Denmark

Sønderborg is a town in southern Jutland on both sides of the Als Sound, with a castle on the waterfront and the historic Dybbøl Mill a short distance away, close to the German border. It is a university and industry town with a strong international community and long connections across the border. Flowers are sent to Sønderborg for parents and grandparents, for a partner working here, for anniversaries and for sympathy.

Mother's Day in Denmark is the second Sunday in May. Sønderborg also commemorates 18 April at Dybbøl with ceremonies and wreaths, and spring confirmations and June graduations bring bouquets to young people across town. If you need to send condolences, a wreath or bouquet to the chapel before the funeral follows Danish custom, and a quiet bouquet to the home afterwards is appreciated.

Order before midnight Danish time for next-day delivery. The florist needs the recipient's phone number, calls ahead and rearranges if nobody is in. Roses, lilies, tulips, mixed bouquets and potted plants are usually available; otherwise a close equivalent is proposed.
