Send Flowers to Nørresundby, Denmark

Nørresundby lies on the north bank of the Limfjord directly opposite Aalborg, joined to the city by road and rail bridges and effectively part of the same urban area. It has its own town centre, the Viking burial ground at Lindholm Høje on the hill above. Flowers are sent to Nørresundby from abroad for parents, for a partner working in Aalborg, for birthdays, for new babies and for condolences.

Mother's Day in Denmark is the second Sunday of May. Nørresundby families celebrate confirmations in spring and the graduates' week in June with bouquets, and round birthdays with flags at the gate. For a bereavement, the custom is a wreath or bouquet sent to the church or chapel before the ceremony, with a short card.

Orders placed before midnight Danish time are delivered the next day. Include the recipient's phone number so the florist can call ahead and rearrange if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, tulips, mixed bouquets and plants are usually stocked by Aalborg-area florists; otherwise a closely equivalent arrangement is offered.
