Send Flowers to Hørsholm, Denmark

Hørsholm is a residential town on the coast north of Copenhagen, between Rungsted and Kokkedal, about twenty-five kilometres from the city centre. It is an affluent, leafy place with a lake by the old palace gardens and the Karen Blixen museum at nearby Rungstedlund. Many Hørsholm households have members working abroad or are international families on assignment in Denmark, so flowers are sent here for spouses, parents, anniversaries and new arrivals.

Denmark celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May. In Hørsholm, confirmation parties in spring and the June graduation are flower-heavy occasions, and a 40th or 50th birthday usually means a house full of bouquets. For condolences, a wreath or bouquet is sent to the church or chapel for the ceremony, and a quiet arrangement to the home afterwards is appreciated.

Order before midnight Danish time for next-day delivery. The florist needs the recipient's phone number, calls before arriving and rearranges if nobody is at home. Roses, lilies, tulips, peonies in season, mixed bouquets and plants are usually available; otherwise a close equivalent is proposed.
