Send Flowers to Hillerød, Denmark

Hillerød is the main town of north Zealand, about thirty-five kilometres north of Copenhagen, built around Frederiksborg Castle and its lake, one of the great Renaissance castles of Scandinavia. Flowers are sent to Hillerød from abroad for parents and in-laws, for friends who settled in north Zealand, for new babies and for condolences.

Denmark marks Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May, when the castle gardens are coming into bloom. Hillerød families celebrate spring confirmations and June graduations with bouquets, and round birthdays with flags at the gate. For a bereavement, the custom is a wreath or bouquet sent to the church or chapel before the ceremony, with a short card.

Next-day delivery is available on orders placed before midnight Danish time. Add the recipient's phone number so the florist can call ahead and come back later if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, tulips, mixed bouquets and plants are usually stocked; an unavailable flower is replaced with a close equivalent.
